The theme of this year's Harvest Moon Gala is the 1960s. Taking a cue from our gala's new surroundings, our gala name is derived from the 1962 version of the song "Fly Me to the Moon," sung by Frank Sinatra. It was the time of the Rat Pack, the space race, and the power of the flower - an era of intense cultural change and new ways of thinking.

At PCDA, we envision a similar revolution - a cultural shift in the way our society cares for children with special needs. We envision a future in which treatment approaches for these children center around social-emotional development, supporting relationships, and working across disciplines in partnership with parents. We work to make this approach the primary way of helping these children achieve meaningful outcomes for life.

Each year, more than 1,000 children and their families seek the services found at PCDA - and it's only through your generosity and that of others in our community that we are able to offer these families the innovative, multidisciplinary care they need as they move forward with their child on a lifelong journey.
